A Theology of Wealth and Security

March 8, 2018 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

In today’s global context of widespread violence and insecurity, what kind of anthropology and theology of wealth and security can we promote in order to guarantee the well-being of societies living together in peace?

In this talk, CWCIT visiting scholar Nathanäel Soede explores the experience and testimony of Jesus in Luke 4:1-21, when he is tested in the wilderness, as a way forward toward this goal. Soede is a lecturer at the Institut Catholique Missionnaire d’Abidjan (ICMA) and the Théologie de la Compagnie de Jésus (ITCJ) in Côte d’Ivoire.
