Community Iftar — Muslim Americans: What Research Reveals

May 17, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Free

During the Islamic month of Ramadan, Muslims fast daily from dawn until sunset. They break their fast by eating a light meal, usually dates and water, called iftar.  In addition to iftar and dinner, guests will be enlightened by Meira Neggaz, Executive Director at Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, with a presentation on what research shows about Muslim Americans.  The event is free and seating is limited. Guests must register by emailing mccinterfaithteam@gmail.com with the names of the people in your party.
