Music for Social Change: Africa, America, and the Singing Revolution of Estonia

February 25, 2018 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

$25

The second concert in NSCS’s 82nd season celebrates the power of music as a vehicle for expressing that which cannot be expressed any other way: the forbidden music of one’s own homeland, sung by enormous crowds defying an empire; music to educate and promote healthy actions in the face of an epidemic; music that energizes and amplifies the causes of civil rights, human rights, and the environment. Come ready to be energized and perhaps to be invited to join along with one or more refrains!

JHands in Solidarityulia Davids, Music Director
