Strides for Peace is an organization that supports organizations like the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence (ICHV) that are on the front line of the effort to reduce gun violence.  The Race is an opportunity for folks to support the great work going on in Chicago by participating in a 2-mile walk, a 5-K or 8-K run along Chicago’s lakefront.  If you sign up for TEAM ICHV all the proceeds go directly to our efforts to help save lives.

The festivities kick off at Upper Hutchinson Park in Grant Park.  After the race there is food, music and beverages!
