Jim Wallis, the founder and editor of Sojourners magazine, will be in conversation with several local Chicago leaders (to be announced) to discuss the concept of “Reclaiming Jesus” and the ways in which Christ’s followers are to engage in this world of increasing political and spiritual crisis.

Sojourners is seeking to foster dialogue among different groups within the Chicago area and highlight local leaders who are already at work pursuing justice. This event will convene a diverse cross-section of the Chicago area and feature the voices of leaders engaged in activism, faith, progressive policy, and racial justice.

In coordination with Jim’s new book, Christ in Crisis, this event plans to go deeper into the heart of social injustices and offer both a challenge and word of hope to those who care about the integration of moral values into public life.

The event is free and open to the public.
