A thank you to all the people who worked in Cook County suburbs to stop City and Village boards from taking away minimum wage increases and paid sick days from low wage workers. Leaders will be coming from all suburbs where campaigns took place, not just our Northshore communities–Oak Park, Berwyn, LaGrange, Arlington Heights and many more. The dinner will be catered by Hel’s Kitchen.

The dinner will also raise the question for discussion of what comes next. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky is the featured speaker, with Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle invited but not yet confirmed.
