Envisioning Intercultural Ways of Being: Perspectives on Race and Gender

March 12, 2019 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Featuring LaReine-Marie Mosely, SND, PhD.

Envisioning intercultural ways of being means growing into what it truly means to be a community of equals. We begin with ourselves and allow these values to infuse every dimension of our conscious and unconscious lives so we can come together to embrace our past and present and move into our future together. God has brought us together through the dynamism of our charisms. How can we activate our lived charisms anew in ways that that will enable us to discern and respond to the signs of the time? There will be pain. There will be struggle. There will be misunderstanding, but God will walk with us and lead us into an intercultural future, a future full of hope, a future where no culture will be dominant. Imagine!

LaReine-Marie Mosely, SND, PhD is a Sister of Notre Dame and belongs to the Toledo, Ohio Province. LaReine-Marie is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore, Maryland.
