Nonviolence Training

January 14, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

$200

This three-day training offers an introduction to the Kingian Principles and Steps of Nonviolence. Throughout the training, participants will learn Martin Luther King Jr.’s six principles of nonviolence and come to a greater understanding of nonviolence as a tool of change.

The training answers this key question: What is nonviolence and how does it apply to my life? The core components covered include: The history of Nonviolence, defining key terms (Violence/Nonviolence), the four components of a Beloved Healthy Community, and the Six Principles and Steps of Nonviolence.

Nonviolence Chicago will not turn anyone away for lack of ability to pay. The training fee is $200, but let us know what, if anything, you are able to pay for this training. Our mission is to replace the cycle of violence using the principles, practices and teachings of nonviolence. Training is a critical component to our mission.

Registration: Please call 773-417-7421 or email phuch@nonviolencechicago.org
