Reclaiming Southwest Chicago

The will brief people on the substantial progress being made in southwest Chicago–
*property values are up
*foreclosures down
*many parents take part in a parent-mentoring program
*the crime rate has been cut in half
*local public schools are improving greatly
*by end of 2017, no vacant properties to reclaim between Rockwell & California, 59th to 63rd sts.
And talk about the future—rebuilding an additional 100 homes and buildings . Potential funders of the next phase will be at the gathering. A strong show of support for the Reclaiming initiative from across the county is important.
