Join us for a special talk on the history of Central America. We will present a popular perspective on the struggles in the region, the reactionary role of the United States, the revolutionary struggle in the 70-90s, Monsenor Oscar Romero and the Theology of Liberation in El Salvador, the emergence of the Maras in the United States, exploring the reasons why people are leaving – and the need to fight for those seeking asylum from Honduras and other Central American countries. With soft drinks and sweet bread. Bring coats, blankets, tents and food items to donate to our brothers and sisters from the caravan at the border!
