An independent and nonpartisan organization, the Council serves as a center and developer of policy and leadership for the criminal justice field. With a unique structure combining a national invitational membership organization and criminal justice think tank, the Council has the ability and expertise to translate research and data into policy grounded in facts, evidence, and fundamental principles of justice. Members include some of the top in the criminal justice field that help meet the needs of the underrepresented and disadvantaged.
