“The mission of the Social Justice Resource Center is to link faith to action by providing information and resources on the social issues of our time.”

We believe that social teaching is central, not fringe; social ministry is integral, not optional; it is the work of every believer, not just the mission of a few committed people or committees.(Communities of Salt & Light, US Conference of Catholic Bishops)

We are all called, “To proclaim good news to the poor; proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.” —Luke 4:18

LINK FAITH TO ACTION

Become Aware. What is happening? What do I see & hear? What am I  learning?
Analyze the Situation. Why is this happening? Who is affected? Who is deciding? Who pays? Who is benefiting?
Take Time to Reflect. What are my values and beliefs about this? What does my faith teach?
Decide & Act.  What am I able to do about it? With whom can I connect with for a stronger voice, wisdom and support?
